The subscription levels don't exactly make choosing easy. I'd start with the offers you want to use, then choose the tools that make them manageable. A bigger bundle is only worth paying for if you'll use what it adds.

You don't need to read every table. If you're unsure where to begin, start with what you need help with, or jump to a stage below. New to the terminology? An odds matcher compares a bookmaker's price with the price for betting against the same result on an exchange. That's known as laying off. Our plain-English glossary is there when you need it.

How to read this page

Start with the job you need help with, then use the membership tables to see what it costs. The comparison combines published product information with my experience of these methods; it isn't a current hands-on test of every tool. A feature list alone doesn't establish a profitable betting edge.

Find your next useful step

  • I'm curious and want to learn. Look for clear beginner lessons and a way to try the method without committing to a paid plan. Explore MatchedWise's introductory material† (affiliate link; opens new tab), or compare all three providers' starter guidance. Free daily tools are different from the full Premium suite.
  • I want help finding and managing regular offers. Offer finders cut down the searching; calculators work out the stakes. For accumulators, help with the later lay bets matters just as much as finding the first combination. Compare the regular-offer features, then explore the providers whose tools match your routine.
  • I'm balancing features against subscription cost. Profit Maximiser Basic has the lowest monthly price here. MatchedWise lets you start with free daily tools, while Outplayed offers a wider ladder of specialist memberships. The useful comparison is the cost of the tools you'll actually use. Compare full plan details and official prices.
  • I'm looking at specialist or value tools. Compare the exact system and membership needed, rather than an impressive list of tools. These methods may involve bets without an opposing lay bet and can lose the full stake. Explore the specialist differences.

My rule of thumb: Pay for useful help with your routine, rather than a longer feature list. Marked † links may earn us commission if you subscribe, at no extra cost to you.

What do the subscriptions cost?

You can learn the basics without a paid subscription. These tables show the advertised prices and what you get by paying more.

Budget for three things: (1) any software subscription, (2) your bookmaker stake and (3) separate money at the exchange to cover the lay bet's potential loss (called liability). Exchange liability is not another subscription fee, but it must be available when you place the bet. Odds changes, unmatched bets and mistakes can cause losses; no return is guaranteed.

Monthly figures (£29.99 Platinum, £49.99 Diamond, £150 Pro, £300 Elite) were visible on Outplayed’s official pricing page with Monthly selected in a screenshot supplied by the author on 28 October 2026. Platinum £29.99 monthly renewal is additionally supported by official promotion terms (opens new tab), and Pro £150 monthly by its Pro page (opens new tab). Annual figures are from Outplayed’s annual pricing page (opens new tab). The annual pricing page, rechecked 3 November 2026, states that subscriptions renew at the selected annual price unless cancelled. Its seven-day Platinum trial requires a card and starts recurring billing; cancellation within the trial avoids the first charge. Introductory promotions can have different terms.

PROFIT MAXIMISER

Betting Mastermind£150 × 3 instalments; not rolling monthly£450 year one; £100/year renewalIncludes basic membership plus golf, each-way, price-boost and Betfair exchange systems

Betting Mastermind costs three £150 instalments for 12 months of access, not a rolling £150 monthly membership. The seven-day trial applies to the basic product only. Its published policy provides no Mastermind trial or refund. Basic's trial is for new members only; cancellation is handled by email. Terms rechecked 3 November 2026.

Provider prices checked 28 October 2026. Yearly subscriptions are paid upfront: dividing the price by 12 does not turn it into a monthly payment plan. A cheaper annual rate still ties up the full annual fee. The plan-specific trial and renewal details are set out above. Our Starter / Intermediate / Seasoned pro labels describe experience, not subscription levels; they aren't product ratings.

1. Starter: understand the process

Start with the process: can you follow an offer you qualify for, place the qualifying and lay bets, then work out how to use the free bet? A long list of tools can wait.

On a phone: each question is followed by a card for each provider. On larger screens, the same information appears in a table.

Starter tools: guidance, finding odds and calculating stakes.

2. Intermediate: more complicated offers

Different tools do different jobs. A calculator works out a stake once you've found the bet. A finder helps you spot something that fits the offer. For an accumulator, you may also want help with each result and the next lay bet as prices change. Those are useful differences to look for in the table below.

With refund offers, check what comes back and when. A free bet isn't cash. You may need help laying off the original qualifying bet, then working out how to use any free bet awarded afterwards. The offer's rules and the bets actually placed still matter.

3. Seasoned pro: specialised analysis

Advanced systems estimate whether odds may be unusually generous or follow price movements. Many are not ordinary matched bets: an unhedged selection can lose its entire stake, and a claimed edge is not a demonstrated result.

On a phone: each question is followed by a card for each provider. On larger screens, the same information appears in a table.

A few differences worth a closer look

For 2UP, compare the help as well as the price.

Some bookmakers will settle a qualifying bet as a winner if your team goes two goals ahead, even if the team later draws or loses. The offer still has conditions. Profit Maximiser includes its 2 Up Hunter in the advertised basic package. Outplayed lists 2UP Master under Pro. My interest would be in the whole job: finding a match at an acceptable qualifying cost, monitoring the early payout and understanding the choices afterwards. A matcher and a value model aren't interchangeable, even when both have 2UP in the name.

Profit Maximiser's website† (affiliate link to Profit Maximiser's landing page; opens new tab) · Outplayed's tiers

Mastermind serves a different purpose from a basic offer membership.

Its Betting Mastermind catalogue lists football and horse-racing systems based on Betfair exchange prices. Those are worth considering only if exchange trading is something you want to learn. They aren't a reason to pay for Mastermind when all you need is help with welcome and reload offers.

Profit Maximiser's website† (affiliate link to Profit Maximiser's landing page; opens new tab) · Outplayed catalogue

Good records are useful; a built-in tracker is a convenience.

Keeping bets, balances and results together helps you see where the money went. Outplayed includes a tracker in Platinum; MatchedWise includes one in Premium. I'd value that if it saves repeated work, but a spreadsheet can do the record-keeping job too. A profit chart alone doesn't manage an open accumulator for you.

Sources, scope and updates

We checked the providers' product descriptions and prices on 28–29 October 2026. MatchedWise entries, like the others, are based on the provider information linked on this page.

The Starter, Intermediate and Seasoned pro sections describe reading needs, not a required progression or the providers' plans. Tool descriptions establish functions; they don't establish feed speed, model accuracy or achievable betting results.

Coverage isn't eligibility. A bookmaker appearing in a matcher doesn't mean your account qualifies for its promotion. Minimum odds, permitted markets, deadlines and account restrictions still determine which offers you can use.

Targeted updates checked 3 November 2026: trial and billing details, support, MatchedWise's tool scope and Outplayed's conflicting Bet Builder Finder tier. Other feature descriptions retain their original documentary check dates.

My recommendations concern the usefulness of each kind of tool for a task. They don't rank current betting performance or claim that a dearer membership produces better results.

My starting point: Learn with free material, choose a method you understand, and only pay for tools that make a useful difference to the work involved.

New to the terminology? Our plain-English glossary and How it works page explain what laying off a bet, qualifying losses and free bets actually mean.
